The Abounding Beauty of an Iris

I can’t imagine anything more lovely than this painting. The Heirloom Iris in real life is spectacular, but this…..

This painting is simply breathtaking.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, my friend has been using her time to paint the flowers in my gardens. I am over the moon in love with how she captures the personality of the Iris. Whimsical yet stoically delightful.

I was able to purchase the painting featured, and I started thinking…Wouldn’t it be great to have notecards made from this painting? And, better yet, ALL of her Iris paintings??? The answer is YES!! 🙂

I have spoken with Carla, and she has agreed to take on the project. Partnering with Heirloombulbgirl, we will make seasonal limited edition sets of cards. I’m absolutely thrilled. I’m hoping the cards will be available in about 2 months, as well as the darn PayPal set up, which I can’t seem to figure out!! It’s all good, even with the website issues…..

Flowers are still being given away, The Garden Project is still moving forward and changing lives, and I am still able to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. Capturing the flowers through paintings and cards will give an added joy to many who receive a handwritten card.

Beauty abounds….even during the pandemic.

Happy Gardening, my friends.
