The Gift of Time

The days just seem to roll into the next. What day is it, anyway?! Time seems to stand still…. This is the new norm, I suppose. But yet, I remember just a few weeks ago, saying  “I wish I could ______, but I just don’t have time.”

There is a lot of that going around these days.

Time to sit and just wait…..

But wait for what? Wait to hear a new virus has taken hold in our community? Wait to hear if loved ones have symptoms? Wait to watch the evening news or check statistics?

Now is the time to be different. Shake things up in your day. Do the things you’ve always dreamed of doing.

Time is a gift…..regardless if it is forced or chosen.

Time to read a new book. Time to try a new recipi. Time to plant a garden and grow your own food. Time to eat meals with your family. Time to learn to knit. Time to practice. Time to set new goals. Time to choose to be healthy. Time to write letters of encouragement. Time to get back to the basics.

It’s time.

We all are filled with grief over the loss of our former lifestyles…but flip the script in your head, and reinvent yourself. Take this time and do the things you’ve always dreamed of doing. Get outside, soak in some vitamin D, get your hands in the dirt and breathe in the fresh air. It’s going to be ok. We will be ok.

Remember, this time in our lives is something no one expected….use it wisely, my friends.

Time is a gift.

Happy Gardening, My Friends.
